Notes from Meetings

Tuesday 2nd April 2019

Thank you to everyone who attended the Kelsey and Eden Park Police Panel on Tuesday 2nd April 2019.
Peter Woodfine (local met police) was unable to attend due to the fact that he made an arrest on his way to the meeting, well done Peter. It was however great to see Samantha Rogers (PCSO) and Nicholas Fishenden, our local police.

It was great to see Ben Jones representing Langley Boys School and Alex and Peter from Club Langley.

Samantha and Nicholas reported that, other than theft from vehicles, crime is down in the ward. They asked that people should report crime to 999 or 101 or online at
Met-police before adding their comments on social media.

One of the issues in the ward appears to be children on bikes and Alex and Peter from Club Langley suggested that we should look at opening up an area in Harvington to accommodate them; Alex and Peter would be happy to supervise this scheme. They commented that recently a skateboard park in Crystal Palace had recently opened and has been very successful.
Crystal Palace Skate Park We will pursue this with local councilors.

Next meeting will be at the 28th May 2019.
